Students with majors in other disciplines should consult with the OEAS chief departmental advisor before applying to the program since specific course prerequisites for upper division courses in the minor will be strictly enforced.

To declare this minor, a student must have already declared a major and have a minimum GPA of 2.00. Students must declare the 海洋 and Earth science minor with the chief departmental advisor (CDA). To successfully complete the minor, a student must complete 12 credit hours of OEAS coursework at the 300 and/or 400 level.
